The office knew you were coming and they also know you - they weren't about to stop you for protocols - even they know when to enforce the rules and when not too.
Evan is doing ok here today. Had a blast showing the xrays (it worked on the school computer), hospital bracelet and pusle thingy. At lunch time he told me he is sore, but ok. And a teacher thought they saw him climbing a tree (but could have been a different kid). So he's back to himself. We'll have to remind him to take it easy and just cuz he's ok from a 6 foot fall doesn't mean he can go looking for others while he's mending.
BTW - you did great yesterday - Evan didn't notice any of the worry on our faces. We hid it well :)
