TKD Stuffs...
So, back in November I pulled a muscle in my inner thigh, and I've been sort of limiting myself in how far I push myself.
Last week, for the first time in months, I was able to get all the way down in left and right splits again. My center split I still won't push...I get warnings from that muscle if I try, but I think I'm finally almost done with this.
It really sucks that it takes eight months to heal. This getting old shit is getting old.
We had a competition over the weekend. I didn't do so well. I totally blanked in the middle of the traditional form I was performing. The floor we were on offered exceptional friction...I'm sure this is good for basketball, but I stumbled transitioning between stances during my musical form. I didn't fall, but it was sheer force of will that stopped it. I still managed to place, but I could have done better.
