Fhat the Wuck?

What the hell is LJ doing to my posts? The timestamp is all fucked up and it's not showing up on my F-page, which makes me think it's probably not showing up on other people's either.

EDIT: Yes, this one shows up. The one posted at 8:29 however, does not.

Um...I'm not noticing the problem.

Look at my main page and note the post there that doesn't exist here on your f-list.

I'm seeing this as posted at 8:34, which is about right. Perhaps your LJ style is screwed up?

You don't see the 8:29 posting though, do you?

Nope; I had to go to your journal (click on jsbowden) to see it. Wierd.

Yeah, I know about the GMT thing, so I manually set the timestamp (and sometimes, it won't LET me post when I do that and refuses to accept the entry, which is part of why I've posted so little lately; I have better things to do with my time than fight with LJ).

You probably have a backdated entry somewhere, then, or a wrongly dated entry. LiveJournal is ridiculously sensitive to timestamps, and not very informative about what's really wrong.

LJ must not like you. But don't worry - we still do!

As a data point, I am also not seeing your 8:29 post unless I go to your main LJ page, but this one showed up as 8:34 as normal. Odd.

The last time i noticed this on a friend's journal and asked LJ support, they said it was because of backdating. Make sure you didn't accidentally tick the backdate box in your client or browser. I was also having trouble with the timestamp and it turned out that my client had hard-set the time-zone, and with all the traveling i did recently, it was confused.
