It's a great book, I hear. My former potential-girlfriend-who-never-made-up-her-mind owns it, and I've been thinking about getting it myself. (Though I learned about fisting from a site for gay men. Most of the same things apply, except the sections about lube.)

I'm pretty sure using lube is probably a good idea either way...

Yes, but you don't need the same quantity of lube for vaginal fisting, and using fat-based lubes is a bad idea.
