Gee...

Reading that earlier entry, it occurs to me...does anyone else bother considering stylistic consistency when posting?

Or is that just me?

I definitely don't.

I do, in that I consistently find myself wishing I could post more meaty things and make Key Combinations more of a weblog than a journal---there was a time when the ratio was 20%, maybe, now I think it's closer to 5%---but wishing does not do much good, and I truly do not have time or organization to fix it now, or I would have. So.

Within an entry? Overall?

I was thinking overall. Maintaining consistency within a single post is generally the default, yeah?

Ha, you'd think...

I would say that i have a consistent "voice", but a few styles.

Given that the voice I post with when I do post is my own, if there's any stylistic inconsistency, it's inconsistency on my part.

And really, without separating your journal out into two separate journals, it's hard to do. You're not going to use the same style when talking about what you did today as you are when, say, trying to start a debate about a Big Subject.

I wish I did, but I don't seem to have found my idiom.
