Do the Wave...

Google have given me 30 more invites to Wave if anyone wants one.

If I ever got any invites to give away, I wasn't even going to ask you, I was just going to send one-- it seems like the thing you'd enjoy meddling with, even if it did not ultimately amount to anything.

Alas, unless they are hiding the invites, I have not received any to give away.

Ha ha!

Seriously though, there's no "Invite others to Google Wave" subject hiding in your Inbox on wave?

Not that I saw, this morning.
I'll check when I get home-- Wave is useless at work because we are shackled to IE, and no, cannot install the plug-in to make it work.

For all that most of our internal crap only works with IE, and despite RTN's extremely inflexible policy on most things, FF and Chrome are both approved for installation and use. I'm kinda surprised NGC won't let y'all use an alternate browser.

I suspect it's a malign combination of laziness, justified by half-assed security-- no one wants to take the time to figure out which browsers are acceptable, so they just brand them all security risks, period.

And, no, no invites in waves for me.
