A more wretched hive of scum and villainy...well, would be a great place to throw a social, and some of you have expressed interest.

So, when? What are people's thoughts on a good time?

After mid July is the only preference so far expressed, which is fine. Any others out there who'd be interested and want to chime in?

I'm also going to post to the dfs community, so some of you will see this twice, but there are folks there who don't necessarily read my inanity (and really, those of you who do, can you blame 'em?)

Not dfs, I think; darkfriends is probably the most complete and active DF community.

I think fall would be a good time for a DC Social, myself. Better weather, nice tree colors, and a general sense of restored equilibrium after summer.

They both get the same amount of traffic; which is to say - NONE.

dfs was set up for a Vegas social. I don't really care if it's used to organize other socials.

4th of July on the Mall is always fun, btw.

Traffic, sure; but I was thinking more in terms of membership...
