Since response for my call for people next month has, except for culfinriel, have all been negative, I can't see continuing for the weekend of April 13. melallen, you haven't indicated that you've gotten tickets yet (and since you won't answer your phone, I can't confirm :P), so I'm assuming you haven't. culfinriel, you indicated that you planned on driving up from NC, so for you, it's just not adding to your gas bill for the month.

I still want to do this at some point, but we'll have to find a better time when people can actually make it.

The weekend of the 13th was, I believe, what people stated worked the best.

And hey, PARADE! You just have to share the view with a couple hundred thousand of your closest buddies. But there will be cherry blossoms. It shall be pretty.

I realize this is five months away, but melallen is telling me that really, it's just around the corner. Like, tomorrow even.

It's not just a TV show...it's reservations at the Four Provinces for seven this evening.

robeli suggested Four Provinces, because it's awesome, and while mdevnich would have to leave Arlington, she'd still be inside the Beltway, so we wouldn't have to worry about her dying of culture shock on us.

I'll email Viren as well with a query and get his input.

So, since I'm on the topic WRT this coming Saturday, the response I've gotten on an April DC DFS indicates that the final weekend of the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival (April 11 - 13) is a good time for people, and they'd actually be interested in showing up.

So, does this work for everyone?
