I'm sure you've seen or heard about the FBI's abuse of power w.r.t. the USA PATRIOT Act (and if there was ever a completely misnamed bit of legislation, that one is it). The act in question is only useful for one thing, which is denying us our civil liberties, but that's not important, because like, BRITNEY SPEARS SHAVED HER HEAD WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT A SEATBELT ON WITH HER TODDLER IN HER LAP AFTER SHOWING THE PRESS SHE WASN'T WEARING PANTIES!!!!!

To get back on point, if I were a terrorist, I wouldn't be passing messages over the network using some encryption scheme I can only hope none of the various govt.s out there looking to kill them has cracked, I'd send that shit in the open. It'd come in the form of advertisements for penny stocks, breast enhancement, penis enlargement, herbal cialis and viagra, phishing scams, etc.

Half the spam out there is incomprehensible. It's random strings of nonsense. Unless of course, you know what nonsense you're looking for. Then not only is no one able to decipher your crap, they AREN'T EVEN TRYING.

The people you don't want reading it are doing their damnedest to filter it out so they never even have to see it.
