TeeVee is bad, mmmkay?

Actually, I don't think it's bad for you, but generally, I'm watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report during the week. I'll catch a movie on the weekends at some point usually, but otherwise, we don't watch that much TV.

Anyway, here are Ten Reasons to Turn Off Your Television.

These are also reasons to unplug the ethernet cable, at least from time to time.

What is this "ethernet cable" you speak of?

So, by this reasoning, wouldn't reading be bad, as well?

You aren't relaxing by their standards, because your mind is getting involved with the characters, you are probably sitting down, and may even be snacking.

So is reading as bad as teh Boob Tube?

(No real point here, I read more than I watch, but I consider both to be relaxing.)

Watch Scrubs. I swear their writers reside in your brain.

Internet's at least as bad for me as is TV. I tend to forget I have a TV - mine has knobs and a CRT. And I kinda wish I remembered to turn it on when the shows i hear are so good are playing.
