Tomorrow was supposed to be one of those annoying minor events where we get a little snow and rain mix throughout the day. No accumulation.

They keep changing the intensity, duration, and accumulation expectations on us. Currently, we're looking at 12+ inches over a 40 hour period. Oh, and this storm is a nor'easter, so it'll be nice and windy on top of all this.

Yay, weather. My commute's looking like the fun will just never end tomorrow. Assuming I go in. It's set to start around midnight tonight.

He tested for his Brown belt yesterday, and passed with a solid 'B' in every category. This kid is 6, BTW. If all goes well, we'll testing together next February for our Black belts, and acheiving that together will be the awesomest.

So, I've been playing lots of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 lately, and usually while drinking Black and Tans. How come when the police a) manage to catch me in my indestructible Ferrari that goes 206mph in their cheesey little Crown Vics, and b) pull me over, they never write the DUI ticket to go along with the speeding ticket? The cops never catch me in a McLaren, but it does 240mph, 90 of those in first gear. The McLaren handles like shit though if you're not real careful (but really, any car that has almost 600bhp in it can't have enough tire, and stomping on the accelerator guarantees traction will be broken).

This entry is mostly just whimsy, but I have been playing NFS:HP2, and drinking B&Ts, and it's fun. I need to pick up the NFS collection pack at some point (last time I saw it at Bastage Buy, it was $15). It'd mean a second copy of NFS:HP2, but it's got 4 other NFS titles in it including Porsche Unleashed, which is one of the highest rated driving sims ever, and it's Porsches! I love Porsches. I'd still commit grievous bodily injury for an '89 930 Carrera Turbo Convertible.

Oh, and you can't play driving sims without a decent wheel. Joysticks and mice suck for that. I have a Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Wheel which is great for GTA III and GTA: VC as well.
