And there you have it. There are some names I sort of recognize from browsing the shelves at B&N and Borders, but not so much I could have pulled them from memory, so I didn't count them.

Lawrence vs. TX: struck down anti sodomy laws

Gideon vs. Fuck If I Remember: established right to counsel

Miranda vs. FIIR (see above): established that you must be informed of your rights

Marbury vs. Madison: established judicial review

DC vs. Heller: yes, you actually do have a right to your second amendment rights

Brown vs. KS Board of Ed.: struck down separate but equal

People vs. Larry Flint: established parody as protected speech

Dred Scott vs. FIIR: upheld slavery return laws if memory serves, but I'm fuzzy on this one, been a long time.

So, I may not be the most informed of people on the street, but I'm pretty sure I far outrank Sarah Palin.
