Literally. It's WARM in here. I love when I walk in to the office, and the normal hurricane of overpressure that tries to open the doors for you is missing. This means HVAC for the building is shut down. This means my machines are getting warm. Not the ones in the data center, it has a dedicated 3 ton unit. It's the myriad of other machines that don't fit in there because when we built the floor out, people looked at me funny when I told them we'd need more space and at least a 5 ton unit. And that would only get us through a year or two. It's funny how often I'm right about this stuff. You'd think I got paid for it or something. At least they listened and let me do cabling my way.
The sun is up boys and girls, this is a 20 story commercial office tower, it's full of running computers because they aren't exotic beasts that live in dedicated facilities for at least the last ten years now, and all the people are arriving adding their warmth too. As much as I complain about my office being chilly (well, my fingers have been known to turn blue, so chilly might be an understatement), at least when it is, I'm not worried about random hardware overheating.
It's going to get interesting in another hour or so.
I took two classes back to back last night. Lower rank followed immediately by my normal class. Since coming off the Strattera my stamina has come back. It may actually be better. After our class was finished, I felt like I could have stayed for the KK class and been just fine. My balance is suddenly back on as well. I hadn't even noticed how bad it had gotten. My dosage needs to be upped a little for the new med (I've got patience and impulse control again, whee), because I'm still having trouble staying focused. I wonder if I should call the Emergents, I think they might have something for me.
Oh yes, something I forgot to put in here initially. I got my hair cut yesterday. Somewhere between three and four inches were taken off (which means it's only slightly shorter than my userpic, I hadn't realized how long my hair had gotten). When she was done, the chick who cut my hair commented on how nice it is. They always do that. It creeps me out. I wash it. I brush it. I don't put shit like mousse, gel, or hairspray in it. I don't subject it to a blow dryer. It's just hair. But they always feel the need to comment. WHY?
