So, I'm back at work today. I'm soooo not wanting to be here. Having the long break was really nice, and extending it 4 more days was extremely tempting.
I read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Science over the break. The author is obviously conservatively skewed, but that doesn't mean he's always wrong. His stance on evolution is laughable, but that's to be expected. It was an amusing read, and there are some good points in there, but as he says in the introduction, you shouldn't take anything anyone says as truth without doing a little research on your own. I don't believe he meant for you to include him, but his intentions aren't my concern. Not a bad read, but you'll find yourself wondering what crack the author is on at times. Other times, he's got some good points in there as well. Not the Right Wingnut screed you'd expect from say...Ann(e) Coulter, but still has that slant.
