Yet, some things do stop.

The Neilsen-Haydens over at Making Light, and Robert Jordan's (pseudonym for Jame Oliver Rigney Jr.) cousin at Dragonmount.com and Tarvalon.com have reported that he died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at 2:45 PM (timezone, not known to me). Most of the people on my f-list are former denizens of rec.arts.sf.written.robert-jordan, and many of them I call friends and have spent time with out in the Real World, thanks to a shelf of hardcovers that may find itself never complete.

You'll be missed, good sir. Thank you for all you wrote; even the books that weren't up to the same standard as The Shadow Rising are still better than a lot of what gets published in the SF/Fantasy genre.
