So, I got my blood results back. I'm still showing up anemic, but my blood chemistry is fine, my iron levels are well within normal ranges, and my physician has no idea so she's sending to a specialist.

A gastroenterologist. I wonder if I should give Mark Leyner a call. Maybe he'd put in a good word for me with his Cousin.

Well shit. This isn't the sort of excitement I'm looking for in my life right now damnit.

This sounds like a great excuse to give Jenna a call to just talk n stuff. :) She's in DE this week visiting a her best friend from high school who has a new baby. Let me know if you want her cell #.

Hm.

Have they looked at your stools yet? There's a very simple test to see if there's blood in your bowel movements (stool guaiac test) which is often done. It's kinda limited in utility, tho.
