Plakes on a Snane!

I saw The Movie this last Sunday.

I'm not even going to attempt to not give spoilers, I mean, the title pretty much says it all, really. The plot was very simple : Get murder witness from Honolulu to Los Angeles. There's about 15ish minutes of build up, and then the fun starts.

The premise is totally broken, cargo holds aren't pressurized or temperature controlled, so putting a big box of snakes there would result in Snakecicles, sans stick, but who cares about that, the movie was fun.

It delivered exactly what it promised, with some amusing caricatures and one liners along the way.

I'm glad I went.

As far as I know, (most) cargo holds *are* pressurised. Designing a cylindrical pressure vessel is an awful lot easier than making one that's cylindrical on top with the bottom gratuitously lopped off. As for temperature controlled, I'm not sure -- I doubt it's heated, particularly, but on the other hand I doubt anything'd freeze solid, especially in just 15 minutes.

Most of the people that die on planes because they stowed away did so in undercarriage housings, which *are* unpressurised and definitely unheated.
