Disney looms large on the horizon. This is why we have luggage.

I need to take a new pic for my default icon (the one gracing this post), as I no longer have that much hair. I'll post before and after pics soonish...

I just got off the phone with a CSR from TimeWarner. We picked up Animaniacs Volume II on DVD back in January at F.Y.E. Part of that entailed them asking me for a preference from a list of what magazine I'd like a few free issues of. I chose Time. Now, nowhere in this did I authorize FYE to give my CC info to TW, and I sure as hell didn't authorize TW to charge to that number.

And yet, what showed up on our statement for this month?

Go ahead, guess.

We'll not get anymore issues of a magazine I wasn't terribly interested in receiving to begin with, and TW claim we'll see a refund within the next two billing cycles.

OTOH, I doubt you are the only one, so there's hope it could become a class-action lawsuit on general principles.
