When I can't patch a clean install because a package has a conflict with one of its own gods be damned dependencies? THAT just makes me so fucking mad I'm ready to start killing anyone who claims to be a programmer.

Conflict, as in, these two pieces of software are fighting over some file both want exclusively according to their descriptions in the package management software. As in, some dumb ass fucking programmer did this on his workstation, where he's got a mishmash of shit he's installed from source, and some from packages, and it worked for him, so fuck the rest of us, because actually testing this on a clean install just wasn't worth the trouble.
