Welcome to the club. You'll get used to being tired eventually. I did.

Ummm, what do you mean by you'll get used to being tired? Evan and I are usually in bed and asleep long before you come upstairs, and when he was younger, the few times he woke in the middle of the night, it was me that went to get him as you seemed to be sleeping thru it all and I was the one with the boobs anyways.... so, umm, can you please enlighten me on how Evan has made you so tired?

Because explanation may be necessary: Evan is still an unusual enough name that it often amuses me when it's not applied to me.

I don't recall either of us sleeping very well those first few months. Now I'm just tired because I refuse to sit in traffic and I can't get to sleep before midnight, so I get by on five to six hours.

I slept much much better after he was out of me. And, he slept 6 hours, feed and slept another 2-3 hours from day 5.

So, I'm still confused, how does having Evan make you tired but you got used to it? I can understand your tired from traffic or staying up on a regular basis till midnight becuase you are playing video games, but what does that have to do with fatherhood and Evan?
