It's Friday. If you believe the myth, then yesterday, after having been nailed to a tree for a while, Jesus went and died. Seems like a bad way to start a weekend to me.

At least half the planet appears to have taken the day off, traffic was light, and we brokes the speed limit the whole way to works, oh yes Precious, we did.

Is it Good Friday? I can never remember if it comes at the beginning or end of Lent anymore. Oh well, shit happens.

My legs hurt, my hips feel like they just want to let go of my legs, and hey, I'm going to TKD at least twice more this week. Help.

In other news, my Wednesday doldrums appear to be over. Exchange is back to being it's usual wierd self, Veritas won't use several tapes that it hasn't allocated since back in December despite having only a one month retention on that volume group, and now SAIC is telling my FSO that the PCI cards Xpatch needs in order to run has memory on them, and we were supposed to do things to them to declassify them before shipping back the broken cards. Hey, Assholes, how about PUT SHIT THIS FUCKING IMPORTANT IN THE GODDAMNED MANUAL! And of course, since it involves a computer, this means I'm going to be dragged into at least one meeting with our DSS rep. I can't wait for the telecomms sector to get off its collective ass and get back in gear, so I can go work somewhere this type of shit isn't an issue again. I long for the days when the biggest concern I had on the security front was making sure people didn't use stupid passwords that would allow third parties to hijack their accounts and send spam or launch a DOS from it. While I wait, I've achieved yet another level of clearance, and am awaiting a timeslot for scheduling a poly for even more access to shit I'd rather not have to deal with. Yay.

I think I'm going to turn the speakers up a few more notches; if I have to be annoyed, then goddamnit, so does everyone else. Feel the power of the Darkside of the Subwoofer.
