So, while we were warming up in class this afternoon, my ring came off my finger. That's never happened in class before. I've slimmed down far enough that if just point my fingers toward the ground, and wiggle my ring finger slightly, my wedding ring falls off due to gravity. It might be time to get it resized.

I continue moving forward with my belt. I got my second stripe today. At our school, each belt level has four sublevels, through which you must pass; this serves the dual purpose of breaking down the belt curriculum into smaller chunks and giving you short term goals to work towards while completing towards the larger goal of attaining your next belt. The belts are just steps along the way to Black, so this is nicely recursive. Those of us who help assist with kids classes seem to progress considerably faster than our peers who do not, and we're cleaner with technique and forms, so I highly recommend it.

My Suburban Status Symbol arrived on this side of the pond today apparently. It's status has gone from 'in transit' to 'at prep center'. At present rate, it'll be here by the first week in April. That's about a month earlier than anticipated, but I'm not about to start complaining.

Guess it's time to give the Saturn a really good in depth cleaning and get ready to sell it. Saturn o' Sterlin' could only give a five year maintenance history on it; Saturn purges records more than five years old. Oh well, the first 50k or so were lost (or, more likely, are sitting on a backup archive somewhere).

Well, time to eat, get the Boy to bed, and figure out what to do with the rest of my evening.
