So, I picked up the first season of Dead Like Me on DVD a couple of weeks ago (I'll pick up the second, and apparently final season next month). I had seen all of the second, and apparently, only half of the first season. I had no idea how many eps I had missed. I just want to say that the monkeys at Showtime deserve to be taken out back and shot for having cancelled this.
I don't watch much TV. I make a point to catch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, but otherwise I'm TV agnostic. I watch at random. Showtime hasn't had much in the way of movies that I've cared to see, and the only reason to keep them around was for DLM, Weeds, and Bullshit. Weeds is looking iffy, and I was seeing ads for a new season of Bullshit a while back, but those disappeared so I'm getting skeptical on that front too. Tell me why I'm paying you again?
At least with HBO I get five different channels and some of their PST/PDT counterparts, so if nothing else I can watch Carlin on any given day of the week plus the HBO OD service has plenty of Time/Warner current and back catalogue movies available. YOU, on the other hand, are making a great show, and then pissing me off by cancelling it in its infancy.
