So, VH1 Classic has this thing they do now called The Alternative. They play good music. I'm reminded of this since one of what they played last night was a video from another track on the disc the song iTunes is currently playing at me came from (Here's Where the Story Ends is what they played, if you have to know). The part that blows is the time. Why's it always so gods be damned late when the cool stuff comes on? Eleven PM on a Sunday? If I hadn't been unable to get to sleep at a decent hour (I seem to recall seeing 1:47 the last time I looked at the clock), I'd not have watched this. Back when MTV still played music, they had Alternative Nation on just about every night, but of course, it aired at fucking midnight.

I love Harriet Wheeler's voice. She's easy to look at too (or at least, she was back when this disc and the followup, Blind, were made). I wonder what ever became of The Sundays.
