Deal.

I saw Ghost Rider on Saturday. TOTAL cheeze food product from a can, and you know what? I LIKED it anyway!

Muahahahhahahahhhaaahahahhahahahha...

Sorry, all out of mercy. I approached it as a campy low budget flick, and I was not disappointed, as that's exactly what it was. The one major annoyance I had with this movie is the same I have with a lot of movies that have this sort of thing, and that was J. Blazes plot driven stupidity about Sam Elliot's character. I mean, DUH. Seriously, it was obvious about five seconds after we see him.

I also watched Constantine thanks to the wonderousness that is NetFlix. The whole Spear of Destiny thing made me think of Wolfenstein 3D's sequel, and that I never got around to finishing it. But, back on topic here. This was a fun little movie about angels and demons which borrows a lot from Catholicism and twists it a bit for plot purposes. I knew the guy playing Balthazar looked familiar, and lo IMDB tells me that's Mr. Gwen Stefani., aka Gavin Rossdale, frontman for Bush. Peter Stormare is fucking funny, even when he's the devil. Rachel Weisz looked incredibly familiar, and now I know why...I think I've seen at least half of the movies she's been in. Keanu is Keanu. I don't have a problem with him. Is he a great actor? Probably no, but he gets a lot more shit than I think he deserves. I think he's okay.

Sunday, I helped [livejournal.com profile] voltbang and [livejournal.com profile] chelona move. Next time I'll help by giving them the number for the guys who moved us the last two times. They do a good job: they're fast, and they won't destroy your shit. They also have better than average (but not the cheapest) pricing. We made two trips in a 26ft. U-Haul. A professional crew would have only needed to make one trip, and they'd have done it in half the time, but we didn't break anything, the load didn't shift on either trip, so in all, it wasn't too bad.
