Pick your poison, shamblers or bloodsuckers, either way, you can't go wrong.
Charlie Huston's third novel in his Joe Pitt series (Half the Blood of Brooklyn) is out there, and it takes the story in a whole new direction. Good book, but it'll be interesting to see if Huston can hold the story together now that Joe's out in the hinterlands.
On the shambling front, I picked up World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide. The Survival Guide is extremely amusing. WWZ I'm still getting in to. The writing is good, but I'm not sure the style is ever going to grab me. If it tries, I've read the Survival Guide, and I'll be prepared.
