I haven't posted in a few days, so a quick update.

The weather is wonderful, I've been driving around top down and loving every minute of it. Shame about those folks in the upper plains. The rivers should be subsiding though, and hopefully crop production issues should be localized to those discrete areas.

I'm still working my way through the DVD collection on the big screen. LoTR:FotR looked fantastic, Baraka was gorgeous, and the kiddo was watching SW:tPM the other day and it may be a bad movie, but damn it's pretty. Buckaroo Banzai and Big Trouble in Little China are as fun as ever, but even more awesome.

I need to call Verizon and get an HD box from them for that TV. Then just leave it on Discovery, Animal Planet, or National Geographic HD for a while and enjoy the view.

It's also tempting to drag my computer upstairs and see just how awesome Portal would look over HDMI on it.

Work is work. I like what I do in general, but sometimes, the actual details annoy the shit out of me.

The poor kiddo can't decide if he wants to be on summer break or not. As much as he wants to stay home and play, the break in routine is killing him.

It seems I turn the life counter up by one in two weeks.

So there you have it; what poorly educated half-wits equate my name with.
