Degrees of a different stripe...

So, on Saturday, I took my final for second degree black belt. My legs feel like Jello^TM still. And the ache...it just won't stop. If the building were on fire? And I had to descend the ten flights of stairs? And then run to live? You could just go ahead and cross my name off the survivor list, because I'm so not making it out. I injured my big toe on the left pretty early on, and had to deal with that through the rest of the exam, which made for me not doing as well as I could have or would have liked to. I'm missing a chunk of skin from my right pinky finger, and was bleeding pretty badly from it at the end, but...

I passed though, as did the kiddo. So we managed to get second degree together too. It was a good day.
