Once proud and noble, boasting an average day of 600 - 800 posts at its height, branched from rasfw due to sheer numbers, rasfwr-j has become a ghost town devoid of posters.

What are we down to, 15 per day, on a busy day?

If the Nielsen-Haydens need a stick to prod that fat fuck into taking on an editor other than his wife, this should be a fairly pointy one.

Cue Taps.

Geez. I remember having trouble keeping up with the place when I first started reading...I didn't post for an entire year because I didn't have my own computer and only had sporadic access. Even after I got a computer of my own, it was still rough going.

Now I only look in about once a week or so.

Hmm, if it’s down that low, maybe I can actually keep up.

Yeep, I keep meaning to get a newsreader back up and running and start trying to keep up again. Maybe this is another sign....

What is this rasfwr-j of which you speak? I seem to remember...

I think Winter's Heart was the last one I read. No, wait. I read New Spring. You can read the entirety of my opinion about it here (scroll down, it's near the bottom of the fiction list).

I have A New Spring in hardback, and I keep meaning to read it. I just can't bring myself to do it. If it hadn't been on the <$5 shelf at B&N last time I was there, I wouldn't have picked it up at all. Like Jim Hill, I am compulsively completist, and will buy book 11 in hardback because after 10 books and a prequel, goddamnit, I'm not quitting now.

Will you stop supplying me with self-fulfilling-prophecy nightmares, please?

People will come back when the next book comes out.

They'd better. I ain't making up all this shit by my damn self.

Hey, I still post sporadicly. The Loy was recently sighted no less. We really need him, Jim Hill, Skwid, Drew, Duncan, and Erica at the very least, to migrate over here. It's tempting to dig up Dr. Leistra too, but I suspect she's buried herself in an observatory somewhere, and is quite happily stargazing.

And speaking of astrophysicists, Dr. Aaron should join us too.
