Just to put in my own guess before he answers, I'd say looks kinda like Impatiens. Though it's hard to tell, given the size/etc.

I have no idea what they are. robeli doesn't either, she just thought they were pretty and bought them.

I'll take a pic of them tomorrow when we've got decent light again, and maybe someone can identify them then.

Impatiens sounds right. They looked pretty and they are supposed to come back every year on their own, so it sounded good to me. And, as you can see, I didn't kill them as they are blooming again!
