To give you a German sports car, just say yes.

We went for a drive through Great Falls over the weekend, just because the weather was nice. There were all sorts of caution signs all over the place, for what reason I can't tell, but lulled in to a false sense that they were planted at random, I found one that wasn't. They meant 15mph. I was doing 40 going in to that curve, although calling it a curve is being nice. It was a hundred twenty degree hairpin on a two lane road with no shoulder.

The tires never even made a threatening noise. I was a bit worried, since there was no room to maneuver if traction broke, but I had downshifted and the engine was slowing us down nicely, and it never became an issue.

I highly recommend a 49:51 front to rear weight distribution, low center of gravity, wide wheelbase, and 18"x[8F/8.5R]" wheels with Seriously Low Profile Tires. Couple this with plenty of engine, more brake than a car twice as heavy would need, a really well done suspension, and call it a recipe for fun. The retractible roof is optional, but a damn nice feature.
