Jon Stewart is teh awesomeness. If you're not watching The Daily Show, set your Tivo, DVR, VCR, or BT client (or, you know, just stay up and WATCH) to get it and start doing so.

Bill O'Reilly deserves every bit of shit that gets piled on top of him, and after seeing that clip of him arguing with John "I was a Five Year Guest of the Hanoi Hilton" McCain that his .gov contacts assure him that 'coercive' questioning is effective, I'd personally do a little happy dance if he dropped dead Right Fucking Now. Seriously, how the fuck can you even begin to argue the point with someone who spent five years in a fucking torture camp? Why does that asshole still have a job? Oh wait, he works for the Right Wingnut Propaganda Network Fox News, where credibility is a liability.

After all, he voted to confirm Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General.

Granted McCain's done some speaking out against GITMO and the like, but he had a chance to stand up and make a Very Big Point about this, and was a good party soldier....

Sure, McCain is not perfect, but when he tells you that he knows, from the personal experience of having been tortured, that torture doesn't work, continuing to argue for it just makes you look stupid, and BO'R doesn't really need any help on that front.
