Driving home yesterday I was behind some oversized Ford Suburban Assault Vehicle with an ODU logo'd VA plate with 'ODU QB' on it. I went to ODU, my wife went to ODU, and quite a few people reading this entry went to ODU. Ask any of us why that's pathetic and funny.

Also this week, I read some more booksesesesessss...

The Wee Free Men and A Hat Full of Sky. Both were excellent. I like the character of Tiffany Aching, but it would be nice if Pratchett would tell us what ever happened to our other Female Discworld Prodigy from Equal Rites (and with her being able to do both witch magic and sorcery, she'd be a very different and interesting character, but we've seen neither hide, hair, nor reference to her at UU in any of the Discworld books since).

Yes, the first few novels are obviously PTerry getting his feet wet and still working out how his world worked, but it'd still be nice to revisit some of those. That was our first intro to Granny Weatherwax if memory serves, and she felt like a throwaway character there.

I wouldn't be surprised if he brought her back at some point. He did for Lu Tze in Thief of Time.

The guy writes like 5 books a year, he's bound to use that character somewhere.
