My continuing assault on my weight continues, I will break into the 170s this weekend (I haven't been under 180 since before I got married; I was 180 exactly this morning from a high of 215), and this is good.

By this time next week, I'll have lost between 35 and 40 pounds since I started Tae Kwon Do back in June. And not only have I lost weight, I can do 50+ push ups or sit ups in one minute. Go me.

In other news, I got a new mobile last weekend. I went to the VZW store to renew my contract for another two years, and they told me that was good for a $100 credit towards a new phone. I'm now weilding a Nokia 3589i with data cable. My one gripe is that VZW requested Nokia disable app and ringtone upload via data cable and Nokia complied (of course, I didn't find this out till afterwards, when I was digging around for _why_ those functions weren't working). I'm thinking it might be lawyer time. I feel a class action coming on. Something about false advertising. This phone does not function as advertised on Nokia's website, and VZW doesn't indicate anywhere on their site that they're selling crippled versions of Nokia products. This would bug me less if VZW actually offered anything worthy of money via the 'Get It Now' service, but they don't. The selection is extremely limited, most of what they do offer is complete shit, and goddamnit, there's still the principle that I didn't get what I bought. I could just flash the phone with a non crippled version of the firware, but goddamnit, I shouldn't have to.

I fucking hate telcos in general for all kinds of reasons that I have enumerated in the past, and this is just another bullet point on the chart of why everyeone who works for a telco is first against the wall come The Day.
