How come no one TOLD me Paul Raj was here? I should check my own user info more often it seems.

Next thing you know, Rick Moen will show up.

Also, looking at Rick Moen's website, apparently he thinks LiveJournal is a "cult". So no, I doubt he will be showing up here.

He kinda left us all long ago, though. Apparently, we're all "Internet People" and thus not real, and thus one can sever all ties with us without so much as a goodbye because we have no feelings.

I had a beer with him at the WorldCon in 2005, and he would have shown up at the DFS dinner if his wife hadn't had passport troubles that needed taking care of. I didn't get those vibes at all.

I'm going off of two sets of bitterness here: 1) Reading him calling LiveJournal a cult on his web page, and 2) his disappearance from the forums without really even a goodbye, or chatting with people who knew him. Not as bad as Flavio Carillo, but close!

I wasn't much better with rasfwrj.

Got awfully busy in mid / late 2001, and then when I popped my head back in, it was all noise.

I'm just glad another Darkfriend has appeared, returned from the mists of time. And a Monk as well.
