Verizon is actually delivering a full 15mbps sustained. Any time it seems. It's...nice. It's fast. Sometimes, it's even beyond what they tell me I should expect. I've seen upwards of 2.2MBps, which is a bit beyond what 15mbps can deliver.
Once again, I find myself having to say nice things about a telco. This is the second time in as many years. Someday, I may hold them in something less than contempt as the default state.

Their FIOS TV, on the other hand, is a completely different story. The service is ok, I get a little more pixellation issues than I would like, but it's usually very short lived.
One issue seems so mind numbingly stupid that its level of ineptitude pushes it far past the normal level of irritability: for the love of God, tell me, when 2 separate dish companies (Dish & DirectTV) can figure out caller ID for the tv, why a PHONE company can't?

What is this CID for the TV you speak of?

It would also keep a record of the last 20 or so callers; just like a normal phone would. It was a nice feature to have.
The pixellation is mostly when changing channels. Irritating, but certainly not a deal breaker.
