Verizon is actually delivering a full 15mbps sustained. Any time it seems. It's...nice. It's fast. Sometimes, it's even beyond what they tell me I should expect. I've seen upwards of 2.2MBps, which is a bit beyond what 15mbps can deliver.

Once again, I find myself having to say nice things about a telco. This is the second time in as many years. Someday, I may hold them in something less than contempt as the default state.

similarly, verizon is spearheading that p4p work. I never thought I'd see a telco take a reasonable stand on p2p. I'm very conflicted by this whole situation.

It's about to. In fact, it probably would explode except that verizon blew an atm switch out here a couple of weeks back. had 1000 people offline and left it that way overnight because they didn't want to work at night. if I take that with the p4p deal, they kind of balance out :)
