1. What got you into martial arts? And what keeps you there?

I wanted to lose weight and get back in shape. It's working.

2. What did you study at ODU? Did you get a degree?

I entered ODU as a CS major. I didn't finish.

3. How did you decide on the name (first and middle) for your son?

robeli and I spent a lot of time looking at names before we found one we both liked. His middle name is her father's first name.

4. If you were to change careers, what would you pick?

Lawn mowing. No one EVER has a lawn mowing emergency at 3AM.

The serious answer is that I don't know.

5. What is the most influential thing that has happened to you so far this year?

My bloodwork coming back abnormal. I see the hematologist on Friday since Gastro came back showing nothing wrong there. I try not to worry too much about it, and I had avoided googling to find out the most common causes for anemia that aren't caused by an iron deficiency, but robeli didn't. And of course, she felt the need to share.

You probably don't drink enough beer. Very common in men in our age group. Easy to fix.
