A short list:

1) Taken this whole week off.

I have over a hundred hours of vacation time just sitting there, and the transition to Raytheon benefits is going to do weird things with it. I won't lose it, but using it becomes difficult after the first of the year. I'll end up getting paid out for it long before I can use it.

That and having two solid weeks off would have rocked. Especially since it would have only cost me five days.

I'm not sure what I'd have done with myself for sixteen days of uninterrupted not working...so it's probably better that I only have to try and fill twelve.

I've been with 3Sharp for over five years now, so I earn an extra vacation week. I've used it this year -- three weeks of Christmas vacation. It'll be interesting to see how that works.
