How the hell do those of you who've been stuck on LCDs for any length of time handle this? I keep finding myself focusing on the spaces between the pixels. This is worse than the ghosting on the CRT. And now my head hurts.

Might it have something to do with your eyes - or lack of one eye? If that is the case - under 504, the company really does need to provide you with a monitor that is suitable for your eyes at their expense....

You need a better LCD, one with more pixels/inch. Lower ppi monitors can be irritating (though you do adjust after a while).

My LCD at home is so nice that I hate my CRT at work.

Dude, at least you don't have to deal with a broken LCD. The video card in this machine is shot, which means everything has tracings and trails splashed across it like I'm on a permanent acid trip or something.

They've been telling me they're going to fix it since I started work here. Hah, is all I have to say.

You know it would be *terrible* if something *happened* to the monitor, like if it fell on the ground and was *accidentally* stepped on.

In that case, it would be much *safer* if you had a CRT monitor that couldn't be *accidentally* knocked on the ground by on of these free-floating *asterisks*.
