I dig having Big Ass Screen at home. I've been working my way through our DVD collection, and it's awesome. Surround sound, big screen, cheap snacks...I may never go to a theater again.

So, I finally stepped in to the digital age. Wait, I did that long ago. Let me try again. I finally stepped in to the Digital TV age.

We bought a TV over the weekend, replacing our ~12 year old 26" 4:3 with a Mitsubishi Diamond WD-57833 57" HDTV.

I have to say, Aliens and Cars look fantastic on this thing, and I'll dig out Baraka and see how that looks next.

EDIT: Did you know the Playstation 2 had the option to output widescreen format? I was surprised when I looked on a whim and it was in there.
